A FAMILY HISTORY SINCE 1875
Audemars Piguet’s origins started in Valle de Joux, a valley of the Swiss Jura mountains just north of Geneva. In 1875 Jules Lois Audemars and Edward Auguste Piguet began a founding partnership that still stands today as one the world’s most independent powerhouses of high-end watchmaking. Recognized for their attention to detail and producing timeless innovations. They are undoubtedly masters of their craft.
CITY OF SAILS
In March 2003 the Swiss sailing Team Alinghi, co-sponsored by Audemars Piguet became the only team to win an America’s Cup on the first attempt. Bringing Europe a distinction that had not been realized for a 132 years.
Honoring 30 years of the Royal Oak, Audemars Piguet unveiled a bespoke masterpiece. The case back exhibits a unique high relief medallion capturing two racing sailboats in motion. Of the 1250 examples produced, only 1000 were made in steel.
BRED TO WIN
Audemars Piguet is at the origin of landmark nautical triumphs. Introducing the first luxury steel sports watch, the Royal Oak is the standard.
Each and every piece of an Audemars Piguet is meticulously hand polished to ensure perfection. Attention to detail that has been mastered, independently, for the last 143 years.
